Yes, Daniel, absolutely contact the school. That was the very first thing I did. The principal was shocked and had no idea this was happening. She got on the phone right away to the district's central office. The head of food services didn't even realize what was happening. As of now, our milk cartons no longer display the Milk Rocks website, only the Milk Rocks logo, and we only have "neutral panels" - meaning we have word searches and other games. There is nothing that sends kids to the Internet and the horrible Milk Rocks website. It is definitely worth making some noise about this. Good luck and let me know how you make out!

Thank you so much on the update, I just heard about the Milk Rocks campaign and I was instantly suspicious. I'm a big milk drinker, but I think there's been a lot of research showing that the hormones in conventional(non organic) can really be a problem for kids, as can the added calories of whole & chocolate milks. You said to contact the local dairy; what about contacting the school? I live in a large metropolitan area and who knows what dairy is supplying milk to our schools. marketing directly to kids is generally bad. having this endorsed by schools is just wrong.
